Dime Bank Foundation Donates $1,510 to Collaborative for Colchester's Children

Norwich, CT – The Dime Bank Foundation recently donated $1,510 to the Collaborative for Colchester’s Children (C3) to support an intervention program for parents and children designed to develop new skill levels in caregivers. C3 will partner with TVCCA Head Start and work with trained facilitators to bring this special program to Colchester families. This gift was part of the over $200,000 given to local charities and other need-based organizations by the Dime Bank Foundation over the past year.

The Collaborative for Colchester’s Children began in 2008 with a grant from the Connecticut Early Childhood Education Cabinet to develop a community plan that would benefit the children of Colchester, from birth through age 8. The initiative involves municipal leaders, educators, social-service providers, business leaders and others all coming together to provide support for the children of Colchester.
