Dime Bank Foundation Donates $3,500 to the Jonnycake Center of Westerly

Norwich, CT – The Dime Bank Foundation recently donated $3,500 to the Jonnycake Center of Westerly to help support their Emergency Food Assistance Program.

The food program supplements existing federal programs and provides food to qualifying local residents every thirty days ensuring that no resident within their service area goes without food.

The Jonnycake Center, located in the North End neighborhood of Westerly, has operated for 42 years. Along with the food pantry, the Center provides clothing, educational and financial assistance to those residents in need from the towns of Westerly, Charlestown, Hopkinton and Richmond, Rhode Island.
