Farm to Pier Dinner Returns to Downtown New London

New London, CT – Farm to Pier Dinner will be returning to Custom House Pier in New London on Wednesday, August 15 (rain date August 16). The beloved event is a twist on other farm to table events in the region. Fresh produce, meat, and fish will be accompanied by locally supplied beverages and served at long tables under the stars. Originally dreamed up by Barbara Neff, executive director of the Downtown New London Association and Founder of Neff Productions, this year's event will benefit the New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS).

With produce grown just for the dinner by Hunts Brook Farm in Waterford and ingredients from other local purveyors, including Ninigret Nectars Oysters from Behan Family Farms, scallops from New London Seafood, pork from Secchiaroli Farm, and beverages from Muddy Waters.

Founded in 2002, NESS has become a fixture in the New London community since 2012 when the nonprofit launched its New London Initiative. "We are proud to serve the New London community year-round and thrilled to be a part of this dinner." says Kelley Dupree, the New London Program Director for NESS.

Gates will open at 5:30pm with dinner starting promptly at 6:30pm. Tickets are $125, available for purchase online, and expected to sell out
