Gary Baker Joins The Spa at Norwich Inn

Longtime hospitality veteran to lead sales effort for destination spa and resort

Norwich, CT – Gary Baker, CMP, hospitality veteran of both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, has joined The Spa at Norwich Inn’s executive leadership as Director of Sales. Baker will lead the team in developing all markets including corporate, association, events and weddings. 

Baker was responsible for a number of ground-breaking events at Mohegan Sun during his tenure as Director of Convention Sales & Services. Barrett-Jackson’s Northeast Auto Auction is the largest event hosted by Mohegan Sun to date and The CT Marine Trade Association’s Boat Show was the first consumer tradeshow booked at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center. Baker has also contributed to a number of boards and professional associations including the Board of Education in Groton, CT, the AMC Institute, CT Convention & Sports Bureau and the Professional Convention Management Association as the New England Chapter President.
