Groton, CT – The Groton Rotary Club has announced that there is still time to sign up for its annual golf tournament on Friday, May 31, at the Shennecossett Golf Course, a historic Donald Ross designed 18-hole course in Groton.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the club’s youth scholars and community grants program.
The tournament is open to the entire community.  The cost is $125 per player and $100 for players who are members of the Shennecossett Golf Club.  The fee includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, lunch, dinner and awards.

Registration and lunch is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. The tournament will start with a shotgun tee off at 12:30 p.m.

The Groton Rotary Club is seeking both corporate and hole sponsors.  Corporate sponsorships are priced at $1,000 and include a banner with the company’s logo, program recognition and a foursome.  Hole sponsorships are $100 and include signage with the company’s logo.

The Groton Rotary Club is proud to continue its special sponsor category – the Military Sponsorship.  This is a special opportunity for area businesses to help Rotary honor our community’s servicemen from all branches both active and veterans.

The $500 cost will cover the greens fees for four (4) military service personnel.  The sponsoring business will be recognized by a tee sign and in the program.  The Groton Rotary Club will recruit the military four-somes from all branches of the service in our military community.
