Lori Dufficy of Chelsea Groton Bank Named ‘New Leader in Banking’

Groton, CT – Lori Dufficy, SVP, Director of Sales & Service at Chelsea Groton Bank, was recently selected as a New Leader in Banking by the CT Bankers Association and The Warren Group. This honor is awarded to up-and-coming professionals from across Connecticut considered to be outstanding employees who have made a notable impact in their bank and their community; only thirteen individuals were selected for recognition. The recipients were honored at a special awards dinner on Thursday, January 12 at Mohegan Sun, Uncasville.

Lori joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and has 25 years of financial services experience.  As Senior Vice President, Director of Sales & Service of Chelsea Groton Bank, she is responsible for managing the Bank's 14-branch retail division as well as bank-wide marketing, sales, service, and business development strategies.

Lori is deeply involved in the local community. She serves on  the board of the Connecticut Better Business Bureau; the Mohegan District of the Connecticut Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America; the Gala Committee for Lawrence & Memorial Hospital; the Capital Campaign Committee for Lawrence & Memorial Cancer Center; and the Golf Committee for Waterford County School. She is also a member of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT.

Lori graduated from the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management and earned her Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) certification in 2013. Lori is also a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island with an A.S. in Business Administration and a 2013 graduate of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Lori is furthering her education at Southern New Hampshire University.
