Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling (CCPG) 40th Anniversary Conference

October 28 and 29

Now more than ever, gambling and gaming disorder are affecting Connecticut residents as we spend more time online due to the COVID-related quarantines. With the possible expansion of legal gambling options reaching new levels in scope and diversity, we invite you to our 40th Anniversary Annual Conference to learn how we can help ensure that Connecticut puts systems in place to promote responsible gambling while continuing to provide support and services for those impacted by problem gambling.

This year’s conference will bring together a variety of mental and public health professionals as well as educators, students, those in recovery, community advocates, policymakers and industry representatives. The event supports problem gambling education, raises awareness of this critical issue, emerging trends, and provides an opportunity for participants to network and share resources.

This year we'll have workshops on:

  • ADVOCACY & AWARENESS
  • PREVENTION & EDUCATION
  • TREATMENT
  • CULTURAL AWARENESS
  • RECOVERY
Registration includes:
  • 9 presentations from a diverse group of experts
  • 8 CEUS pending from the CT Certification Board (CCB), National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and National Association of Social Workers, CT Chapter (NASW-CT)
