A Garde Arts Giving Tuesday

GivingTuesday, on December 1, is a day the world stops to give back to those non-profit organizations who contribute so much to their communities.
GivingTuesday is also a day we thank you for your continuing and increased support of the Garde.

Just today we received word that the State of Connecticut will be giving the Garde a matching grant of $182,800 for the more than $350,000 that was raised from the community in the last six weeks!  Your generosity has helped save the theater, improving and maintaining our beautiful facilities at a time when there is no ticket revenue.

So, on GivingTuesday we will be launching our Annual End of the Year fund drive. And, with a special gift from a private donor, all donations in December will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000!

With your gifts, we can continue to provide support space in our lobbies and storefronts for area schools and for those young students who cannot go home during the day and need the extra guidance and safety of a professional supplemental daytime program.

With your support, we will be welcoming a new recording studio and webcasting services into our facilities. We have already provided streaming services for The New London Talent Show, the International Rotary, and State senatorial debates, and space for rehearsing and recording for Flock Theater, Eastern CT Symphony Orchestra, and other local arts organizations.

As our unplanned "brief intermission" heads for its ninth month (and will probably be extended for another nine months), we need you now more than ever.

Just click here today, and we will match your gift $1-to-$1. Gifts of cash or stock are welcome.
Please help us by making a “GivingTuesday” gift that's meaningful to you!

We can't wait to see you back in your seat.
