Join us for a virtual chat with Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and journalist Connie Schultz, in conversation with former New York Times editorial writer Maura Casey.
Connie will discuss her first novel, The Daughters of Erietown, which came out in June, as well as reflect on current events and happenings in the world today.
Tickets $40 (pick up book in-store at Bank Square after event) or $45 (ticket + shipping option) and include a copy of the book, provided by Bank Square Books. ($5 from every ticket will go to the COVID-19 Local News Fund, as well as support La Grua)  

The conversation will take place on Zoom; ticket holders will be sent a link after payment. 

Connie is a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and a professional-in-residence in the journalism school at Kent State University, her alma mater. She is the author of two memoirs, Life Happens and ...And His Lovely Wife. Schultz lives in Cleveland with her husband, Sherrod Brown, and their rescue dogs Franklin and Walter. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

Connie was also the featured speaker at the Celebration of Women Breakfast hosted by the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut in support of its Women and Girls Fund in 2011.
