Merchants Association Boosts AwarenessStonington Borough Visitor and Travel Website Introduced
Stonington Borough, CT – The Stonington Borough Merchants Association has introduced a new website at www.StoningtonBoroughCT.com to increase awareness of area attractions to out-of-town visitors and support local businesses.
The group enlisted a Stonington-based design firm, Dessa Lea Productions, to create the site featuring a more contemporary look supported by new graphic, photographic and editorial content, and strengthening the appeal of the seaside destination, Connecticut’s oldest village. It features the Borough’s shops, restaurants, inns and classic New England architecture, as well as cultural, historic and geographic assets. Additionally, an events page and blog highlight local personalities, lore and tips for visitors including “best places to propose” and “best kept secrets.”
“The Borough is a one-of-a-kind East Coast destination that has it all, from spectacular views and waterside dining to intimate cafes and boutique shops to get lost in,” said Deborah Norman, owner of Grand & Water Antiques. “It’s exciting to share our charm with even more visitors who now have a better opportunity to find us, whether they’re planning a Connecticut coastline vacation months in advance or randomly searching options with their devices on the go.”
The launch of the site will be celebrated at a reception held at Grand & Water Antiques, 135 Water Street in Stonington on October 26, 2018 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
