UCFS hires Deb Hinchey, LCSW as Vice President of Behavioral Health Services

 
UCFS is pleased to announce that Deberey Hinchey, LCSW, has accepted the position of Vice President of Behavioral Health Services. Hinchey brings 30 years of experience as a behavioral health therapist and manager to UCFS, a provider of medical, dental and behavioral health services to 18,200 people throughout southeastern Connecticut.

As a past board member, Ms. Hinchey has a clear understanding of, and commitment to, the mission of UCFS. She will be responsible for the Behavioral Health Division of UCFS, including all five Outpatient Behavioral Health sites and more than a dozen Community-Based Behavioral Health programs. Ms. Hinchey, who earned her master of social work degree from the University of Connecticut in 1997, will also represent UCFS on regional and state-wide committees and councils.

Her expertise as a licensed clinical social worker, leader and advocate will compliment our team,” said Jennifer Granger, President & CEO of UCFS. “I am committed to completing my term and fulfilling my responsibilities as Mayor of Norwich, while I transition to my new role with UCFS,” said Hinchey. “UCFS has been flexible and we’ve created a schedule that will allow me to do both jobs until my term as Mayor is completed.” Hinchey will start on August 22, 2017.
