Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut invites local officials, community partners, and the public to celebrate an exciting new chapter with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new home, located at 1 Bailey Circle in New London. Situated in the heart of the Hodges Square neighborhood—just behind Mr. G’s—the iconic building, formerly home to Sun Turtle Office Furniture, has been thoughtfully transformed into Habitat’s permanent headquarters. The new space will serve as a welcoming hub for connection and collaboration, featuring administrative offices and meeting areas designed to support current and future Habitat homeowners, dedicated volunteers, and valued community partners. Join us as we officially open our doors, cut the ribbon, and proudly raise the Habitat flag—marking a meaningful milestone in Habitat’s continued work to build hope and expand affordable homeownership opportunities across Eastern Connecticut. Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut is a nonprofit housing organization that partners with families and the community to build hope and homes. To date, Habitat has constructed 111 homes across the region, with plans underway to build 60 more—continuing to strengthen communities and increase access to affordable housing. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you! Free & Open to the Public RSVPs Encouraged Suggested Parking:
