60% Off Tickets to Summer Garden Fundraiser
Enjoy farm-forward hors d'oeuvres, garden-inspired craft cocktails, and lively conversation as we celebrate those growing a better food future in the beautiful gardens at Stone Acres.
The name “Seven Seeds” comes from the traditional seven-year crop rotation, the foundational practice of regenerative agriculture that nurtures the soil over time. Like this rotation, our honorees represent the long-term care, commitment, and diversity needed to cultivate a healthier, more resilient food system.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
Our Seven Seeds Honorees: Linda Farinha (Director of Career Center at Norwich Free Academy), Suzie Flores (Stonington Kelp Company), MaryAnn Martinez (New London Community Meal Center), Sylvia Matias-Leal (Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Meriden High School), Chris Pacheco (Seacoast Mushrooms), Beth Simonds (Stonington Farms Shellfish), Sarah Shaw (Johnnycake Center of Westerly).
All proceeds support Yellow Farmhouse Education Center's programming to empower kids and adults with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to grow, cook, and care for food in ways that honor people, place, and planet.Images
