Allocations Volunteers Needed

Be the eyes and ears of United Way donors by serving as an Allocations volunteer. This process provides wise stewardship of funds and ensures accountability of donor investments. United Way relies on our dedicated volunteers to review, recommend, and prioritize funding based on community need.

Allocations Volunteer Roles Include:

  • Partner Program Review: Volunteers review applications, visit applicant program sites, and make group decisions on where grant funds are allocated. This opportunity requires a commitment of approximately 40 hours of volunteer time over 13 weeks. Starting February 2026 and ending in May 2026. Volunteers must be available on the same day and time once a week during that timeframe.

There are both morning and evening panel options:

Tuesday 8:30 - 10:30 AM

Tuesday 5:00 -7:00 PM

Wednesday 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Thursday 8:30 - 10:30 AM

Thursday 5:00 - 7:00 PM

  • Partner Program Financial Review: Volunteers assess financial records on an annual basis of funded partners, typically during the months of February and March. Expertise and knowledge of financial reports is required.
