Waterford Day Volunteers for "Signing the Promise"

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to get involved in Waterford Day? Community volunteers are needed to help support Signing The Promise, an interactive augmented reality experience celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. This engaging activation invites visitors to explore American history, symbolically sign the Declaration of Independence, and participate in an immersive digital experience using their smartphones.

No prior experience or historical knowledge is required. Volunteers will receive training and materials before the event and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for attendees.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet participants
• Help visitors access the digital experience using QR codes
• Answer basic event questions
• Encourage participation and engagement
• Have fun while supporting a unique community event
