We believe in the power of community to transform lives, mobilizing the community to action so all can thrive. As part of a global network of more than 1,000 United Ways, we help to share innovations and scale impact. With deep local roots, we see how our community’s greatest challenges are connected, and how we can bring people and resources together to address them.Together, we’re working towards a future where every person and community can rise. United Way of Southeastern Connecticut has four impact areas: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

Additional Info

Highlights include our signature program, the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center, and the vital local health and human service organizations supported by United Way that form of network of care in New London County. We believe that all people should have access to food security, good health, the opportunity to earn a living wage now and to save for future generations, and an environment where young people can realize their dreams.
