United for Gemma Benefit Gala

We invite you to join us for a powerful evening of purpose and impact at the Fourth Annual United for Gemma Benefit Gala, taking place on October 8, 2026, in celebration of our community and commitment to eliminating food insecurity in New London County. 

Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Gemma Legacy Fund, which creates sustainable support for the ongoing operation of the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center, a vital program ensuring that individuals and families in our community have consistent, dignified access to nutritious food. For over three decades, the Food Center has been a regional lifeline, distributing millions of meals annually through a collaborative network of food pantries, mobile food pantry sites, and partner agencies. With the Gemma Legacy Fund, we are investing in the long-term sustainability of this work to meet evolving community needs and reduce food insecurity in our region.
