Adventure Awaits: Shoreline Happy Paws to Launch Southeastern Connecticut’s First Doggie Adventure Bus in December 2025

Shoreline Happy Paws LLC, the Shoreline and River Valley’s trusted Dog Walking, Dog Hiking, and Pet Sitting company, is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Doggie Adventure Bus on December 1, 2025.

The new service will offer dogs safe and structured Full Day Adventures featuring trail hikes, beach play, river splashes, and scenic town strolls. Adventures will take place throughout their service area: Old Saybrook, Essex, Westbrook, Deep River, Chester, Haddam, Higganum, Clinton, Killingworth, Madison, Old Lyme, Lyme, East Lyme, Niantic, Waterford, Groton, New London, Mystic, and Noank.

Each outing will be guided by trained professional handlers and organized into small, matched groups that balance safety, enrichment, and fun. The bus will maintain a 10-to-1 dog-to-handler ratio, ensuring each dog receives personalized attention. All dogs will undergo a Pre-Ride Evaluation to confirm readiness for group adventures, and those who need extra support can participate in positive-reinforcement training with their own dedicated handler at an additional cost.

For Pet Parents seeking smaller group and shorter experiences, Shoreline Happy Paws will continue offering its current Group Adventure Hikes, which maintain a 5-to-1 or lower ratio and include about one hour on the trail plus transport time.

Before the Doggie Adventure Bus officially launches, Shoreline Happy Paws is inviting local Pet Parents to help shape routes, pickup points, and schedules through a short Pre-Launch Survey:

All SHP Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters are W-2 employees who are Background-Checked, Insured, Bonded, and Pet CPR Certified. After every service, clients receive photos, videos, and a summary of how time was spent with their pet. Along with timestamps and GPS history through the company’s mobile app for complete transparency.
