Always Home Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to share that the Nordson Corporation Foundation has awarded the nonprofit a generous grant of $30,000 in support of its mission ‘Preventing Family Homelessness’. Always Home is one of nine grant recipients in the State of Connecticut who received grants totaling $225,000.

"We are deeply grateful to Nordson Corporation for their meaningful support and commitment to the community during these challenging times,” said Tricia Cunningham, Always Home’s Executive Director. “This generous grant strengthens our capacity to help families overcome a period of housing insecurity and build better housing stability. By  doing so, we can reduce the number of children experiencing the trauma of evictions, homelessness or time spent in emergency shelter.”

“Since 1998, Always Home has focused on keeping families with minor children housed in Eastern Connecticut, providing stability and resiliency for so many in need. This grant is a well-deserved recognition of their dedication and contributions to our local community. Congratulations from Nordson EFD. We look forward to seeing what next-level accomplishments this organization can achieve with our support,” stated Francheska Cordero-Vera, HR Business partner at Nordson EFD.
