Courtesy of Norwich Bulletin Norwich-based accounting leader Amber Moore has been named chair-elect of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, according to a community announcement, as the organization elected and installed its Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 activity year. Moore, a partner with Goldblatt Bokoff LLC in Norwich, was elected chair-elect as part of the statewide professional organization’s leadership slate, which was installed at the CTCPA Annual Meeting held recently at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel in Rocky Hill, according to the announcement. Moore, of Bozrah, holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut. In addition to her work in Norwich, she has been active in CTCPA leadership and committee service for several years. Her previous roles with the organization include treasurer and secretary, along with chair of the Advisory Council and the Technology Group. Moore has also served on the Pipeline Task Force, Nominating Committee, Student Outreach Speakers Bureau and the CTCPA Southeastern Connecticut Chapter. She is also a Connecticut representative to the American Institute of CPAs Governing Council, according to the announcement. Moore has received multiple professional honors, including a CTCPA Women’s Award in the Women to Watch category in 2024.
