Art at the Airport Exhibit “New London Arts Council Group Show” at Groton-New London Airport

The Cultural Coalition is pleased to announce the Art at the Airport program's exhibit, ‘New London Arts Council Group Show.” The exhibit is free and on view currently at the Groton - New London Airport in the airport’s main terminal located at 155 Tower Avenue in Groton.

New London Arts Council Co-Chairs Emma Palzere-Rae and Eddie Long remark “With our Art at the Airport exhibit, we hope to share just a sample of the diverse range of creativity New London always has on tap. While the city may owe its legacy to whaling, arts and culture has certainly become her identity. We see the NLAC Group Show as a chance to proudly represent the individual artists, makers, performers and creatives that make up the New London arts community.”

The NLAC Group Show features various 2D artworks from active members of the New London Arts Council. Primarily focused on elevating the voices of local artists and connecting those artists to professional resources, the New London Arts Council is excited for the opportunity to share some of their own talents!

Members of the New London Arts Council will host a reception on Thursday, Feb 20, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Please join for light refreshments and the opportunity to chat with the artists.

Groton - New London Airport's terminal is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for public viewing of the exhibit. Parking is easily accessible and free.
