Child Care Providers Invited to Apply for Accreditation Support

The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC), in partnership with the RESC Alliance, is accepting applications for Fall 2026 Accreditation Quality Improvement Support (AQIS) individualized services.

The program provides support to licensed and license-exempt childcare centers, group childcare homes, and family childcare providers in Southeastern Connecticut that are pursuing or renewing National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. Assistance is available for programs seeking first-time accreditation, reaccreditation, or accreditation recognition.

Applications are available in English and Spanish and must be submitted by October 15, 2026, at 12 p.m.

Programs not yet ready to pursue accreditation may also participate in AQIS professional development and training opportunities. View AQIS professional development opportunities.
