City of New London Announces Call for Neighborhood Hero Nominations

People

The City of New London’s Office of Development and Planning, Community Development Division, has announced the launch of Neighborhood Heroes, a new citywide initiative designed to recognize individuals who make meaningful contributions to their neighborhoods.

The program highlights the everyday heroes who strengthen the community—neighbors who organize cleanups, teachers who inspire students, pastors and coaches who mentor youth, business owners who give back, and volunteers who support seniors and families.

Residents are encouraged to nominate individuals who go above and beyond to make a positive difference in the City of New London.
