Connecticut Fishing & Outdoor Show Returns to Mohegan Sun

UNCASVILLE, CT (February 17, 2025) – The Connecticut Fishing & Outdoor Show returns to Mohegan Sun’s Earth Expo & Convention Center from Friday, March 21st through Sunday, March 23rd. The show takes place from 3:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday, and 9:00am – 5:00pm on Sunday. This year’s show will showcase a spacious Kids Fun Zone that is twice the size of last year, with hands-on activities for toddlers through teens where they can discover the wonder and beauty of the outdoors.”

• Fly-tying by experts
• Hands-on activities include laser shot range from the CT Dept. of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP)
• View upcoming premier military and historic guns at auction in Connecticut and discover how to sell antique and collectible firearms with CT Firearms Auction
• Learn how to use inflatable life jackets by the U.S. Coast Guard

KIDS FUN ZONE will include:

• Hands-on activities for toddlers through teens where they can discover the wonder and beauty of the outdoors
• A catch-and-release trout fishing pond
• Dog training demonstrations
• Animal Adventures Family Zoo & Rescue Center’s wildlife programs (Saturday & Sunday only) with an alligator, porcupine, Burmese python snake, skunk, owl, bunny, turtles, and a tortoise.
