Paul and Ann Dagle of East Lyme lost their son Brian to suicide in the fall of 2011. In 2014, the Dagles incorporated their foundation and opened the Brian’s Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing in Niantic in 2018. A decade of service adds up to thousands of people receiving grief support at no cost. In 2024 alone, the Brian Dagle Foundation served: ● 1376 people at grief support groups and therapeutic events ● 279 people at grief or suicide-awareness educational events ● 1000 student athletes as well as 1000+ family members and fans at LAX2LIVE suicide awareness program for high school and college lacrosse teams In honor of this milestone and Brian’s love of his Irish heritage, the Brian Dagle Foundation will be hosting a VIP reception before enjoying a performance by Canada’s internationally renowned virtuoso fiddlers Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, joined by their children Mary Frances and Micheal Leah.
