Laura Capshaw Kramer Joins Chelsea Groton Bank as Assistant Vice President, Business Development Officer

Laura Capshaw Kramer recently joined Chelsea Groton Bank as Assistant Vice President, Business Development Officer. In her new role, Laura will work to understand the cash flow needs of businesses and offer appropriate solutions to potential business customers, while continuing to build and maintain strong relationships with current Chelsea Groton customers by providing strategic service and support.

Prior to joining Chelsea Groton, Laura spent a few years working for the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut. She then became a Media Consultant/Regional Sales Manager for CTM Media Group, responsible for providing strategic marketing solutions and partnerships for clients in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Cape Cod.   

Laura graduated from the University of South Florida. She currently resides in Mystic, CT, where she was one of the founders of the Mystic Pirate Invasion and is a 17-year board member of The Mystic Irish Parade Committee. She is an active member of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT.  

In her free time, Laura enjoys volunteering for various local non-profits, hiking in all areas of New England, visiting her son at William & Mary, and enjoying her community along with her Maritime Artist husband Russ Kramer.
