Mohegan Sun’s First SantaCon Adds More Bars, Holiday Cocktails & a stop at the Gingerbread Pop-Up

Holiday cheer will be in full force as Mohegan Sun guests dress up in their favorite Santa-themed attire for the inaugural SantaCon at Mohegan Sun, slated for Friday, December 12th. For this special inaugural SantaCon, Mohegan Sun will be transformed into the ultimate bar crawl destination, where Santas take center stage. Check-in begins at 5:00pm and the action gets started at 6:00pm, and participating locations are now set to include The Shed Restaurant, The Farm Italy and The Gingerbread Bar – a holiday-themed pop-up bar opening on December 4th.

Tickets to SantaCon at Mohegan Sun are available now via ticketmaster.com and include a free Sana hat, one complimentary Sam Adams “Winter White Ale” at The Sun Patio (8:00pm – 10:00pm) and access to exclusive SantaCon specials at each participating location. All guests must check in at the Momentum Event Center in Casino of the Earth on the day of the event, December 12th, between 5:00pm - 9:00pm to receive their wristband. Free cover at Mohegan Sun’s Avalon Nightclub is also included as well is a $25 game card at GAME ON, where partygoers can enjoy 50+ modern and retro arcade games. Tickets for SantaCon are also available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office, subject to availability. Five dollars from every ticket sold supports the Tommy Toy Fund of United Way, helping bring holiday joy to children across the region. Additionally, a toy drive will be hosted on-site, so guests can feel free to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate.                                                                                                            

SantaCon at Mohegan Sun brings extra holiday cheer with exclusive Jolly Hour specials! Attendees can stop by select venues throughout the evening to enjoy festive drinks at reduced prices. The celebration begins at Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook from 6:00pm – 7:00pm, where guests can sip on the seasonal favorite Santa’s Cherry Cheer for just $11. The party moves to Beauty & Essex from 7:00pm – 8:00pm, followed by TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge from 8:00pm – 9:00pm, where guests can enjoy a refreshing Rosé Santa Sangria for $11. Later, from 9:00pm – 10:00pm, sweet tooths will love Bobby’s Burger Palace, serving up a decadent Spiked Pralines & Cream Milkshake for $12. At Taughannick Falls Bar between 10:00pm – 11:00pm, guests can toast with the whimsical Peppermint Patty for $11. Finally, the night wraps up at novelle between 11:00pm – Midnight, where guests can enjoy a Santa’s Nightcap for $11 or a Holly Spritz for $12 at The Wandering Canteen located just outside of novelle.

Those looking to make it the full experience can purchase a SantaCon 2025 Hotel Package which includes a one-night stay at Mohegan Sun, two tickets to SantaCon, and a $25 food and beverage credit. SantaCon tickets will be texted to guests 24 hours prior to the event. Guests must still check in at the Momentum Event Center on the day of the event to receive their wristband. During the SantaCon journey, guests can make a stop at The Gingerbread Bar, a magical pop-up bar located in the Sky Tower lobby, where they can sip on festive spirits and holiday-inspired cocktails, sit by the cozy fireplace, and enjoy 50% off Gingerbread Bar ornaments . From 6:00pm – 8:00pm, guests can come and meet the man who is #1 on the naughty list! Grumpy Santa will be trading cookies and milk for cocktails and selfies with every stranger he meets.
