Mohegan Sun’s Kiosk Donation Program Breaks Record with Donation to The Arc Eastern Connecticut

The Arc Eastern Connecticut recently received a substantial donation of $24,123 through Mohegan Sun’s monthly Kiosk Donation Program—the largest single-month donation in the program’s history.

“Mohegan Sun is thrilled that a record-breaking total was raised in August as part of our monthly Kiosk Donation Program,” said Don Trella, Vice President of Human Resources for Mohegan Sun and Board Member of The Arc Eastern Connecticut. “This record-breaking amount benefited The Arc Eastern Connecticut, and it truly speaks to the reputation of this organization and the support they provide for people with disabilities and their families throughout our community.”

The gift supports The Arc Eastern Connecticut’s mission of partnering with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) for equal participation and inclusion throughout eastern Connecticut. The funds will directly enhance programs that promote independence, employment, and community inclusion for adults with IDD.

The Kiosk Donation Program at Mohegan Sun allows guests cashing in their tickets at a kiosk to donate a portion of their winnings to a charity. The charitable organization changes monthly.
