250 Years of American Maritime Heritage On July 4, 2026, our nation will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Mystic Seaport Museum will commemorate this historic milestone with special programming throughout 2026. Mystic Seaport Museum is a proud affiliate of the America 250 | CT Commission. Special offer for active duty and retired military all year long: Active military dressed in uniform receive free general admission.
