Regional Chamber Honors Eastern Connecticut Excellence

2024 ECTys awardees chosen

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is pleased to announce its 2024 ECTy honorees and a call for tickets and sponsorships for the 2025 Annual Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, at Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Celebrity Ballroom from 5:00 to 9:30 P.M.

The Annual Meeting and ECTy Celebration is eastern Connecticut’s premiere business and community awards event celebrating the best in business, innovation, and community leadership. Known as the ‘ECTy’ Awards - a nod to legendary honors like the Grammy or ESPY Awards, this celebration recognizes the following standout individuals and organizations making a difference in our region:

  • Young Professional of the Year: Lily Muir, ThayerMahan

  • Board of Directors Special Award: Nick Caplanson, Dime Bank

  • Strategic Partnership Award: Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (Municipal and tribal representatives from: Bozrah, Colchester, East Lyme, Franklin, Griswold, Groton, Jewett City, Lebanon, Ledyard, Lisbon, Mashantucket, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Norwich, Preston, Salem, Sprague, Stonington, Uncasville, Waterford, and Windham.)

As part of an ongoing collaboration and partnership, the Southeastern CT Cultural Coalition also presents arts and culture awards at the ECTys Celebration; these awards reflect and embody the Coalition's core mission to connect, collaborate, and communicate. This year, the Cultural Coalition will be honoring a creative entrepreneur, someone working in the creative sector who also demonstrates business success.

All are encouraged to attend, get inspired, and be a part of the festivities.

Standard bronze to gold, as well as award, entertainment, centerpiece, signature drink, and dessert sponsorships, and program advertisements are available, and may be directed to memberships@chamberect.com.
