The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is pleased to introduce Great Wolf Lodge as a 2025 Regional Benefactor. The Great Wolf Lodge in Mashantucket, Conn. is set to open spring 2025 and will be the company’s 23rd resort in North America and third resort built in the northeast. The property, built as part of a partnership agreement with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, encompasses 13 acres of land adjacent to Foxwoods Resort Casino, and will feature 549 rooms, with a 91,000-square-foot indoor water park and 61,000-square-foot family entertainment center. “We are excited to provide Connecticut families and families across the Northeast with a fun-filled getaway that is close, convenient and carefree,” states Henry Tessman, General Manager for the Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket. “This resort represents our next generation Great Wolf Lodge experience and will feature more family adventures, more entertainment and more immersive experiences for our guests to enjoy.” Through contributing over and above the Chamber’s standard membership dues structure, Great Wolf Lodge, as a Regional Benefactor, will help support vital programs produced annually by the Chamber for the small businesses and nonprofit community. “We are proud that Great Wolf Lodge recognizes eastern Connecticut’s potential and believes in the mission of the Chamber,” expresses Tony Sheridan, Chamber President and CEO. “The region’s booming economy, our robust job market, renowned educational and culturally rich institutions, defense industry and healthcare systems, all contribute to a high quality of life in our region. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is well positioned within each of these sectors to help Great Wolf Lodge connect with its future workforce, clientele, and stakeholders.” As the Administrative Partner for the Eastern Regional Tourism District, the Chamber is also uniquely suited to attest to Great Wolf Lodge’s social impact on the region; the resort will play a key role in attracting children and families near and far, supporting the economy and drawing tourists for years to come. “We look forward to making the most of this connection and supporting Great Wolf Lodge as they elevate the Town of Preston and eastern Connecticut as a whole,” Sheridan concludes. ### About the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut: We are the region’s largest network of professionals, representing over a thousand organizations spanning eastern Connecticut and beyond.
