TVCCA Announces New Director of HR

Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Yamillet Lopez to the position of Human Resources Benefits Director. Previously Assistant Benefits Director and Office Coordinator for the entire agency, Ms. Lopez has an extensive background in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation issues, and benefits. Prior to coming to TVCCA she was contracted through the CT Department of Health during the pandemic to conduct outreach and data analysis as health outcomes were tracked. 

“I really appreciate this opportunity to work in a care-driven agency like TVCCA,” said Ms. Lopez. “Even though it’s a large agency, which can be a challenge with nearly 400 employees, people work as a team and are very supportive of each other—and that makes this job truly enjoyable.”
