WBDC Announces 2026 Ignite Grant Program

The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is excited to announce the next round of our Ignite Grant Program. The deadline to apply is September 13, 2026. The application will be offered in both English and Spanish. 

  

The Ignite Grant Program is designed to help women-owned businesses in Connecticut grow. The program offers grants of up to $10,000 to women-owned businesses in the state of Connecticut who have been in business for two or more years and have revenues between $25K and $2 million. Since the start of the program, we have distributed 519 grants of over $4.8 million to women-owned businesses across the state.  For additional information on the program, please visit our website.  

 

Starting August 5, we will hold weekly one-hour information sessions throughout August and September to assist prospective applicants with their applications. There will be six sessions in English and two sessions in Spanish. Interested applicants can register for a live information session here: Class Listings (search “Ignite”).
