Special Education Teachers

LEARN invites candidates to apply for openings for full-time Special Education Teachers in our magnet schools across New London County and outplacement programs in southeastern Connecticut.

The successful candidate must possess an understanding of and an appreciation for multicultural education, knowledge of best practice, curriculum instruction and assessment.  Must be able to encourage students to work to the best of their abilities and to take pride in their achievements, providing a stimulating environment in which students learn, interact and grow academically, socially and emotionally. 

Bachelor's Degree and CT Comprehensive Special Education Certification (065, 165) required.
