Artreach, Inc. is pleased to participate in Connecticut's Open House Day for the first time in 2024. The public is invited to join Artreach for an art exhibit and jazz music at its newly renovated gallery and workshop space located on the Uncas on Thames campus at 401 W. Thames Street in Norwich. Connecticut Open House Day, now in its 20th year, is an annual event held on the second From May through September, artists and arts organizations will use an arts-based approach to bring awareness to problem gambling by engaging with specific cultural populations such as Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, Asian American and Pacific Islanders cultural communities, or with the LGBTQIA+ or Veteran communities. The five participants in a new regional project “Problem Gambling Awareness Through the Arts Initiative,” funded by the Connecticut The Cultural Coalition is pleased to announce the Art at the Airport program's Spring exhibit, ‘The Color of Sound’ presented by Artreach, Inc. The exhibit is free and on view from April 18th to June 30th at the Groton - New London Airport in the airport’s main terminal located at 155 Tower Avenue in Groton.
