The Lyme Art Association Presents American Waters: A Marine Art Exhibition, Purely Pastel, and Celebrating Lyme’s Beauty
Old Lyme, CT – Visitors of all ages will enjoy the Lyme Art Association’s summer exhibition of work by the country’s premier maritime artists, American Waters, on view in the LAA’s beautiful sky-lit galleries from June 10 through August 26. The exhibition will feature work by the American Society of Marine Artists as invited guests, alongside exciting marine work by LAA
Old Lyme, CT – The annual Celebrating Lyme's Beauty event, co-organized by the Lyme Art Association and the Lyme Land Conservation Trust, will showcase paintings of the Hamburg Bridge District on Joshuatown Road and Old Hamburg Road in Lyme.
This themed exhibition will be displayed in Lyme Art Association’s Goodman Gallery from July 22nd through August 26th.
A special Paint Out will be held on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th from 9am – 5pm at the Hamburg Bridge District. The Paint Out
The Lyme Art Association’s third annual Swing for Art Golf Party will be held on Monday, May 23 at the Old Lyme Country Club. This event is going to be a fun and relaxing nine-hole party for men and women at any playing level, followed by cocktails and hearty hors d'oeuvres.
Even if you’re not a golfer, you can participate in the event. You and your guests are invited to attend the cocktail reception, and there are several sponsorship opportunities and benefits.

Body Language, displaying artwork based on the human figure in all its forms, runs concurrent with the Elected Artist Show, on view April 22 to June 3, 2016. Also on view in The Art Market is an unjuried show featuring an entirely new Old Lyme, CT – Lyme Art Association’s 24th Annual Associate Artist Exhibition of landscape, portrait, and still life paintings, as well as sculpture by Associate Artist members will be on view in the Association’s front galleries, and runs from January 22 through February 26. Wonders of Winter, which showcases winter scenes by members of all levels, will be on display in the Goodman gallery, and also runs from January 22 through February 26.
