Mystic, CT – Local company Mystic Knotwork has been named by Yankee Magazine in its annual Best of New England summer travel guide (May/June 2019).

With nearly 200 tips and ideas from the magazine’s expert editors, the travel guide is brimming with recommendations on the best family-friendly activities, seaside hotels, Stonington, CT – The New England Science & Sailing Foundation (NESS) is kicking off the summer season with their annual NESS Fest on Saturday, June 23 (11am-3pm) at their Stonington location at 72 Water Street. This free event will feature fun activities including sailing, powerboat tours, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. This event is open to the public. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
NESS's Director of Advancement Marggie Slichter explains, "NESS Fest Eastern CT – The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT will present four Regional Chamber Awards at its Annual Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Hilton Mystic, sponsored by Atlantic Broadband and the Connecticut Airport Authority.
The Chamber presents Regional Chamber Awards annually to deserving businesses and individuals for outstanding work accomplished over the previous year. The honorees recognized for 2017 include:

The current owners, Matt and Museum Celebrates “History on the Half Shell” with Food, Music, and FunMystic, CT – Mystic Seaport will host the first ever Mystic River Oyster Festival on Saturday, October 1. The festival is a new event to celebrate the history, growing, and cuisine of the popular shellfish in Mystic and southern New England.
