Secor Subaru of New London presented the Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA) with a check for $20,000 for its Meals on Wheels program on March 22 as part of Subaru’s yearly Share the Love fundraising event to benefit local charities. The reception and ceremony, hosted at the Garde Arts Center in New London in conjunction with the Breezeline Winter Cinema Series’ final movie event, drew a crowd of over 200 who attended the on-stage check presentation prior to the film.

Connecticut has a new brand identity, with officials rolling out a new look Oct. 17 to replace the “Still Revolutionary” campaign launched in 2012.
The “Make It Here” identity features a new logo—a circular C with an embedded T—and a slogan designed to promote “economic growth and instill greater pride in state residents.”

Connecticut's Department of Revenue Services March 30 granted small businesses an automatic extension of filing and payment deadlines for state sales and room and occupancy taxes.
The move follows an executive order signed the same day by Gov. Ned Lamont and extends deadlines for March and April monthly and quarterly payments to May 31, 2020.
